How this business days calculator works
Start with the dates you need to plan, then select the country and an available regional code when the rule applies to a particular area. The calculator refreshes the relevant public-holiday calendar for the calendar year, applies the workweek you choose, and then removes any confirmed local closure you add. The start date is included by default, with a visible control when your rule begins the following day.
Using the Monday–Friday workweek, June 3 through June 5, 2026 contains three calendar days and no weekend dates. Germany’s national calendar produces 3 business days in this range. When the available regional code DE-BW is selected, June 4 is removed as a calendar holiday and the result becomes 2 business days. A confirmed closure on June 5 would reduce that result to 1.

Frequently asked questions
Does the calculator exclude public holidays?
Yes, when usable holiday data is available for the selected country-year. It removes national dates and, when selected, dates for an available regional code. It does not invent dates when data is unavailable.
Is the start date included?
Yes by default, if it is in range and not removed by a weekend, selected holiday, or custom date. Uncheck Include start date when the period begins on the following day.
Which countries and regions can I use?
Choose any country returned in the live list. A regional-code selector appears only when codes are available for the chosen country-year. The tool never treats that list as proof of every local calendar or special closure.
What does the source label mean?
Calendar data loaded means a usable national or selected regional-code result is available. Profile unavailable means the calculator did not receive a usable country-year list and will not guess dates.
Are my dates sent anywhere?
Your start date, end date, custom closures, workweek setting, calculations, and preview remain in the browser. Calendar requests contain only the selected public country code, an available subdivision code, and whole calendar year; they do not send those entries or any result to another site.
Can I use this for delivery or a legal deadline?
Use it as a planning check only. Confirm the carrier, court, agency, contract, or employer rule because their cutoff times, holidays, and counting conventions may differ.
